Michelle Moore, RN, BS, LNC
Michelle’s love for people was evidenced as a child growing up in the Bronx, New York. Her nature as a child was one of purpose, care, and helpfulness. At the age of 10, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. One could determine at an early age, Michelle was given the gift of communication. She loved to talk about everything and usually had an answer for most things.
Michelle’s academic career is marked by attending St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York, where she received a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with Certification in Counseling. Michelle also obtained her Degree in Nursing from SUNY and is a licensed Registered Professional Nurse. In addition, Michelle holds a license as a Real Estate Broker.
Her career history commenced with New York Hospital, now known as New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she worked in the departments of Cardiology, Surgery/Neurosurgery, and Neurology. Her health care career exceeds 30 years as her Real Estate career exceeds 20 years. Michelle has owned and operated her own staffing company for over 20 years.
Michelle’s dedication to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was most brightly seen in her service at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor George B. Martinez. Michelle would embrace any job that brought glory and honor to God while benefiting the body of Christ. It was at Mount Calvary Baptist Church that she began to conduct health seminars for the Saints.
As the Lord would have it, Michelle went on to be Sunday School Superintendent at Glory Gospel Assembly as well as to teach adolescent Sunday school under the leadership of Pastor Patrick Harrison. Michelle holds a special place in her heart for the youth for many reasons: “they are our future, they are enthusiastic about life, and when on the straight and narrow path they can be tremendous vessels in the Lord’s hands”. Michelle’s enthusiasm for seeing young people dedicate their lives to God while they are young and to see the greatness God displays through their lives is most fulfilling to her. Michelle’s love for God’s people has taken her to those marginalized by life circumstances and/or life choices with the message: Jesus saves, cleanses, redeems, and restores. She has ministered in church, prison, homeless shelters and the streets.
Michelle’s love for our Lord is seen in her service to the people of God, her husband, four sons, parents, and seven grandchildren.
